Appreciate your take on the terrorism and LTTE, it will take quite a long time for these fake patriots to realize the truth…

So the south is the sole creator of LTTE? Doesn’t tamil racism has anything to do with it? Why do you see racism as something that could only reside in the majority?

Your question is valid and it allows me to explain my position further.
In fact there is a component that comes from the North itself. But the bulk comes from the South, because of the very reason that the South was in power, since independence (not the North).
They had the authority to resolve the issues which they did not use and they had the authority which they used to create further issues.
On both counts they are responsible, more than the North.

Liberal Lanka,
I know you didn’t ask me the question, but since it is a very interesting question, hope you don’t mind I’m putting my two cents in to this too.
I think (elite) Tamils are equality responsible in this. You always need two sides to play ball. It was the Sinhala Kalu-suddha’s like Angarika Darmapala and Tamils equivalent to him, start this racist game. Still to this day I find some elite Tamil people who think they title to some sort of special privileges. And they bring up such things like number of Signatures in “Kanda-Udarata” agreement been in Tamil and such.
I can’t totally take beyond frames argument, not because it is false, because it is missing something. South was in power. True. But even that, Tamils had relatively sufficient power inside that. Even today, there are large numbers of elite Tamils involve in administrative process. Now I use the world relative, because politics been a dirty game, only mobs have true power in SL politics.
I think there is another factor to it, that we ignore most of the time. That is the concept of “country”. It is new to us (to Sinhalese and Tamil both), just like it is new to most of the countries started after British colonization. All most all those countries had to go through a civil war, before they full understand who they are. Some Sinhalese and Tamils in Sri Lanka still do not understand what a country is or what Sri Lanka is. They still compare the concept of Country with the pre-colonization administrative units. Tamils tries to take it back to colonization period, and Sinhalese tries to take it before that. So I don’t think it is fair for us to point finger at Sinhalese or Tamils. Looking at all other countries, a war is an evil necessity for every country to understand who they are and emerge as a butterfly at the end. And I hope we do at the end.
